Our Reception Area
Operatory Rooms
The large windows in the
Operatory rooms where you can view scenic Mississauga centre. Our
water lines are drained nightly and an antibacterial solution is run
through and allowed to sit overnight. Every three months our waterlines
are tested for microflora.
Sterilization Centre
Items that are not disposable are first cleaned and disinfected in an
ultrasonic, then packaged and heat/steam sterilized. This system is
closely monitored using color change indicator strips and spore tests.
Instrument set-ups remain sealed in impermeable wraps until you are seated
in the operatory.
Panoramic Imaging not only expands diagnostic
capabilities, it allows the dentist to identify a wider range of existing
and potential conditions. This system assists with diagnostics of oral
cancer, tumors, and impacted teeth.
Light Curing Unit
The Light
Curing Unit is used to set tooth coloured
fillings and the accelerate of tooth whitening agents.
You
only need to keep still with your mouth open for a short time. During an
appointment when treating several cavities this can be a great help.
Treating young children is thus much easier.
In Operatory XRay
Unit
The Operatory Xray unit is a high-frequency,
direct-current intraoral radiographic unit. The output provides excellent
image contrast and gray scale, and reduces patient exposure to radiation.
The unit's control panel has five preset time settings identified by
pictograms of anatomical areas of the mouth and single-button selections
for patient size (adult or child).
AutoClave Unit
We use the most effective system
available to assure the sterility of our instruments. A hospital-type
autoclave combines high heat and pressurized steam to insure that
instruments are bacteria-free. Monthly tests ensure the equipment is
operating efficiently.
Intra Oral Camera
The Intra
Oral Camera uses the
slimmest auto-focus hand piece.
DIAGNOdent Unit
More and more patients place value on healthy and
attractive teeth. In order to maintain them, the earliest possible care is
essential. DIAGNOdent helps with early detection. Even very small lesions
are detected at the earliest stage, enabling you to protect and preserve
the tooth substance.
